I have a question about putting a PCIII on my 2006 FLHT with theScreaming Eagle1550 cylinders and pistons, Screaming Eagle 203 cams along with the Harley 1550 download on the factory ECM. My question is, do I have to have the factory ECM reprogrammed to the stock 1450 settings before installing the PCIII ? I'm looking at ordering a preprogrammed PCIII from Jamie at Fuelmoto and want to be sure the settings will be close enough to run safely.

You do not. Just tell Jamie exactly what you have and he will do it up.
Be sure to zero your throttle per the instructions when you do the installation.

PCIII doesn't care. Just make sure you are using a map designed around the fact that you have that download.

 

Rhubarb is correct. The PCIII makes it's changes after the ECM. I was running the PCIII on my bike that already had a Stage I download. You just need to get a PCIII map for bikes with the Stage I download.
