Help!!! 06 ultra wont start
Help my 06 ultra with 103 upgrade 258 cam 10.5:1 high comp piston was running fine made a turn and hit the gas and then died. Has full tank, new coil, will tunover,is firing, and system initiates when turned on, and will crank with starting fluid. But not getting fuel. No codes either

Unhook the fuel line quick disconnect at the bottom of the tank. If you can do so without getting gas sprayed on you (meaning the line isn't pressurized), you might start with the cheap stuff and look hard at that disconnect fitting. Sometimes just reinserting it will fix your problem for a while. If it's not that, it might be the fuel line inside the tank or the fuel pump itself. Do you hear the fuel pump pressuring when you switch it on?

Just wanted to say thanks to ultranutz for his input. It was my crank position sensor, went to my local hd and picked up one and bike cranked right up. Had similar exp a month ago, hammered throttle to pass a car and coil went out. Just wondering what is causing my problem when throttle under heavy load, or is it just routine stuff that breaks/malfunctions????????? I know and have parts list to the $7500 upgrade that was done to the motor in 2008 and bike only has 35k on it. Just wondering should i upgrade an electonics to go along with the motor work to prevent any further breakdowns??????????

06 ultra tranny @!#%ed up
Well ultranutz you were exactly right, about when i least expect it!!!!!!!! On way to work this morning 10/8 stopped at a red light in neutral. Light turned downshifted to 1st let out clutch and tranny seized up. It tries to go but is just stuck. Clutch is working and will shift to other gears and back to neutral. Thought my brakes were locked at first. But bike will roll in neutral. Feels like bike tied to a tree. She wants to go but something binded up. Ugh!!!!!!!!!!help!!!!!

well damn man! sorry to hear of your issues and unfortunately I'm not educated enough on the actual drive train to be much help. I can speculate but that's not going to do you any good. First thing I would do is pull the CPS and see if there is any metal or wear on it since that was the last thing done.
You should post this issue in the Primary/Transmission/Driveline/Clutch section. There are a ton of very knowledgeable folks there including some baker drive train specialists.
