1 sec Run after Smart Security System install in 2012 Softail
Hate to put this out there. I've read multiple threads on the topic, but nothing for the new HD-CAN systems. I have a 2012 Softail Slim I just put the Smart Security System TSSM in and only get a 1 second run after starting the engine. I've read this is due to the new TSSM not communicating with the ECU??? I've also tried the ECU/TSSM learning process multiple times, but got nothing. However that is for the older bikes. I haven't found anything on the newer bikes with the HD-CAN system.
Does anyone have any ideas? Or will I be stuck trailering my brand new bike to the dealer for them to mate the new TSSM?
