boggs when accelerating
I have a 99 road king that ran rough when i got it i put a fi200 on it and it ran like a top i just took it apart to paint it and now that it is back together it boggs and falls on its face to the point it wont pull itself. it would go about 7 miles before it would do this. if i let it sit it would go another 5-7 miles . i checked to see if it was vapor locking and its not i pulled the fuel filter and blew through it and it apears to be fine. i changed the temp sensor and no change . the bike will idle and rev up fine when sitting still but when there is a load on it it will not rev up.help

consider review of the inside of the fuel tank..I just had a 1998 that when i opened the top plate on the tank i was able to isolate a 1 inch by 2 inch piece of original tank liner. Tank liner was from the cup area of fuel gauge.. The piece of liner would starve the pump of fuel. Also consider review of fuel lines since they decompose from inside out....make sure that the pump is functioning.
