harley fuel problem
I was coming back from Sturgis on my 2004 Ultra classic and began having bogging / perhaps flooding problems under load such as hills or light accelleration. I cleaned the air idle control port with throttle body cleaner with a slight improvment. The riding was very hot over 100F, the bike was using some motor oil. Any idea if this will foul the air idle control and cause this problem. Idle speed is also higher than normal for longer at start up even if the motor is still warm. Any suggestions welcome
Thanks

The engine light comes on briefly when the bike is struggling, give it light throttle and it bogs out . Give heavy throttle the condition improves and when the bike comes up to speed the light goes out runs fine. Had the codes checked and there are none registered. Only gives problems while riding when a light load comes on such as a hill or when light to meduim acceleration is given. Bit of a puzzler!
