Default Resistance in plug wires!

I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea what the ohm reading should be on the plug wires?

Welcome to the Forum! Someone will be around shortly with much more technical knowledge than I do to answer your question.

Try running an ohm meter across the wires when they are not plugged up at all. Surely there's some internal resistance

Found the problem in the charging system..... Just not a 100% sure if it's the stator or voltage regulator tested the stator and I have no resistance between the stator and engine... From what I read it should read infinite or OL on the meter.... Also there's no voltage at idle as the bike revs it goes to 40 volts then drops back off and only reads 11.6 volts at the battery

Voltage regulator is the issue you shouldnt go beyond 15v when revving

the voltage beyond the 30 volts was off the alternator not at the battery
