Need some help from anyone that may know what the issue may be. I have an '09 Dyna Super Glide. Trying to save some money, I decided to replace the stock switch housings and grips out for a nice set of chrome ones myself. I was a little reluctant to try this but a buddy of mine said it was a piece of cake when he did the same to his '06 Sportster. After doing the throttle side, I wanted to test the switches so I hooked the battery back up and hit the run switch and the fuel pump never engaged....hit the start switch and nothing....the headlights are on...and everything on the clutch side of the handlebars is still working but it will not start. Not sure where I should begin my search of where the problem is. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Hey cadman, check and make sure you did not get a wire pinched in the process of installing the housings. I'm dealing with a pinched wire that's keeping my running lights from working after a handlebar install, just haven't had time to dive off in it yet, but I'm 99.2 % sure that's the culprit.......SB

 

Thanks SB...I'm going to give it a good looking over to see if there are any pinched wires...hopefully that will be a simple fix
