FLHT ignition problems
Hey everyone! I got a 2007 FLHTP that I thought had a wiring issue but doesn't seem to be the problem. When I'm turning the ignition off (OFF and/or FORK LOCK) I can jiggle the ignition cap and the power will come on..ie: instrument panel lights, lamp lights, everything will power up until I move it slightly to go off, as if it was a loose wire or something? Well last week while out, my partner told me I didn't have a brake light at a stop. Then I noticed no turn signals, radio, instrument lights!! but still had the headlight and rear running light? There's only the 3 wires for the ignition switch so I traced those back to the ECM with no issues. So ordered a new switch housing and I'm still waiting for it, which of course is B/O from HD so I'd like to know if I take my old one out, Is there anything I can look for by taking it apart, except for the obvious? Has anyone else ran into this problem? Any input/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
BTW...all fuses are good

You have to remove the key cylinder(****) then the lower acc. switch panel to access the switch mtg screws, and switch. The electrical plug is supposed to be pulled off with a special tool to release the lock tab, but if your replacing the switch assy. you can break the tab on it. just plug it in and reassemble. If you have access to your Dealer they could let you look a service manual.
