Default 8 degree injectors

I've been reading the 8 degree injector issue that some are having with their bikes. Is this only on '06s and earlier, does anyone know if the '07s have those injectors in them?

I believe it's only early model '06.

Thanks guys. I thought so but wasn't sure my buddy has an '06 and was complaining about it, and I was just making sure it wasn't something I needed to be concerned about.

Bump!

I've got an 06 Dyna SG, build date 10/05. I know I have the 8 degree injectors and am wondering if I should go to the 25 degree injectors.

The bike runs fine, I have the Stage 1 upgrade RPM extender, HD slipon mufflers and the SE A/C. The bike has always been strong and ran well except for a bad motor mount and vibration. Just replaced.

But here's my question. I have just installed SEII's with Big City Thunder Baffles and a PCIII. The bike still runs good, but I'm sorting through the maps to get the best one for my riding style. Is there any benefit to having the 25 degree injectors installed if everything is okay?

I just went through this with an 06 I just bought with the 8 degree injectors. It runs great, and everyone I spoke with said that there was no reason to worry or to change to the 25 degree injectors.I think the bike runs better than my previous carbureted HDs, so I'm happy. If there's any reason ever to change them out, it looks like the injectors are about $90.00 each, and labor is about 1 hour, and a remap or re-sert tune is required (or whatever). If there is a problem, it's covered under warranty. It sounds like some dealers are willing to change things out under warranty even if there's no problem, but none of the dealere I spoke with were willing to do anything withoug a real problem. Also, from what I could gather, most of the bikes don't have a problem, and no one could give me an explanation as to why some bikes did have problems and others did not.
