Question on Deltran trickle charger

Question on Deltran trickle charger
Okay, I have a Deltran trickle charger and have a question ...
says it is 750 mA
tests to see if battery voltage is below 12.6 Volt DC ... if so, it charges it up to 14.4 Vdc
(says it will maintain at 13.2 Vdc)
I had a full charge last night (green light - 14.4 Vdc) ...
This morning I started the bike up (about 60* out) to test the Starter Relay ... shut down after idling about 30 seconds ... took about 10 - 15 seconds to hit off ...
I plugged the charger back in (red light - below 12.6 Vdc) ... checked a half hour later (still red) ... when I checked back an hour and twenty minutes later the light was green ...
... trying to estimate about how much draw it put on the battery to start it and whether it is within standards ... seems like it takes a while (10 - 20 seconds) to start when the motor is cold (first thing in the morning and after work) ... when it is cold (below about 50-55* temperature) it will run the battery down ...
Thanks for any feedback ...
