I've searched this forum and see plenty about VSS replacement. I have an 06 carbed Heritage and replaced the VSS and checked every wire I can see for loose ground, etc. All seems good. Is there a way to check to see if the speedo is bad without buying a new one ? My odometer racks up miles but speedo stays on zero. Thanks, Ken

 

I have much the same problem (05 FLHRSI). Speedo is dead, but odometer keeps on chugging. Cleaned off the sensor to no avail. Thinking of just buying one??
