Default Difference in SERT 32107-01F and 01E

What are the (if any) major differences between the E version and the F Version? Is it just the maps on the disk or is the actual tuning software different also? thanks

Can you just download the -01F map from somewhere or does peeps with "older" maps have to keep buying newer ones?

Sorry to post a question in this guys thread, but I was just about to start a thread when I read this one.

Either you "Borrow" one from your bud, or you buy an updated disc from the dealer...

Yiiiikes!! thats[sm=lame.gif]. Ida figgered once you were able to survive the initial cost of the SERT, you'd be "eligible" for updates......free from HD. The thing is "synced" to the owners VIN...eh? So only the owner ofsaid SERT can use that one.......sheeeesh HD [sm=WTFsgign.gif].

Thanks for the info.

The newer versions occasionally have bug fixes or other updates in addition to new maps. According to the "F" version manual, the following are the software changes made for this version:

Model Year 2007 Software Updates
Version 4.6
• Added calibrations 61 – 87.
• Corrected the cam callout on the SHO (Super High Output) calibrations.
• Added 3 Sportster calibrations
• Added the ability to turn ‘Engine Idle Temperature Management System’ (EITMS) ON/OFF. See the ‘ECM Tuning Constants’ Table.
The 2007 version of the Tuner software adds the ability to turn ON/OFF the ‘Engine Idle Temperature Management System’ (EITMS) that is described on p.13 - 14 of the manual. The feature is found in the ‘ECM Tuning Constants’ table and is located just beneath the ‘Knock Control’ box.
ENGINE IDLE TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Model Year 2007 Big Twin Vehicles:
For those riders who frequently find themselves in riding conditions where the vehicle is subjected to prolonged idle conditions, an optional ‘Engine Idle Temperature Management System’ (EITMS) is available. This feature offers limited rear cylinder cooling with the vehicle stopped while the engine is left at idle.
Please note the following:
Customer benefits - If a customer experiences frequent riding conditions where prolonged idle conditions create excessive engine heat, this calibration offers limited rear cylinder cooling with the vehicle stopped and engine at idle. While enabled, the customer may notice a unique exhaust odor which may be objectionable. The EITMS does not address engine heat issues resulting from other operating conditions.
