Which SERT map profile to use.....
Posted this in another forum a couple of days ago but as yet no response. Thought I'd also ask here.I've read it stated that the 26g cam "grind" is closer to a 203 cam, then elsewhere I read someone stating that it is closer to the 204 cam. I've looked up the comparison numbers/values for all three but I guess I just don't know how to evaluate/compare what I'm reading irt timing and which are the "important" values.
Until I get it dyno tuned next year, which cam profile in a Sert map would be better to load in my Stage II SG w/26g cam ? The 203 or 204 ?
TIA

RE: Which SERT map profile to use.....
You should be able to dump the Stage 2 with 203 cam map in there and be close enough to get you by, I would check the plugsafter riding it and not beat on it. When my build was done with the TW37 cam they dumped the Stage 2 with 203 cam map in to get me buy while I broke in the build before putting it on the Dyno.I had no issues and kept the RPM's below 3,500.

What map did you see that had 204's in it from the SERT???????

My eyes must have glazed over...I saw 251, CVO253, 257,258, 264, and the 203. Guess I was reading more into the tables then what was really there.

Sorry for the ill-researched question.
