I knowthe new kits don't include a serial cable. With that said...mine came with a CD and a small sealed brown box. According to my CD - In the "Kit Contents" section - I was supposed receive;

-CD ROM
-Computer Interface Module
-Specialized Cable to connect Computer Interface to Data connector on the vehicle
-9 pin male to female Serial port to connect Computer Interface to your computer

Now I haven't opened the sealed brown box yet, but it looks pretty small to have a module and a cable in it.

When I buy the serial cable does it include the "module to Data connector" cable also?

 

Yes... The required cables come in the 32108-06 CABLE KIT.

 

-01F kits do NOT include the cables....

That is a seperate purchase....

The brown box is the module container...

PS - If I've got SERT questions just after opening the box, just imagine after I start using it...LOL

 

I called my tuner and he said the cd has the manual in it and the map is loaded in the race tuner box nothing more. I can get the cables for 30 $ and only then can I retrieve the map for my bike by down loading to my pc,the race tuner will always stay with the ven number.
