Need tssm help
I recently saw a post where someone said to replace the 68924-07 with a regular tsm to do away with security. I bought a 68924-07 because I want to keep my security. My bike no longer recognizes my key fob. When I went to change the part, I notices the one that is in my bike is a 68925-07. Can I do that or is one number different a big deal?

68924-07 is a TSSM for a Touring bike and also works in a Sportster.
68925-07 is a Softail and V-Rod TSSM
Although they look the same and work the same it is how they are positioned on the bike to as to monitor the bike tipping over to cut the engine circuits that makes the difference so the 68924-07 is not going to work on a Softail.
Also if you change a TSSM for another the new one needs the fobs reprogrammed by the dealer using the DT2 to work with the new TSSM
I still am having trouble understanding why you changed TSSM's anyway in the first place if you already had a TSSM? Was it not working or something ?

Well I like the convenience when it works right. My bike stopped responding to the key fob, I had to enter the turn signal code. When I went to the dealer to get it looked at, I asked about a new fob. They told me I couldn't, and that the fob is paired to the module and you can't change it. If I can reprogram a fob that would be fine.

The new one you bought does not work on your bike anyway..........
