Jumpstarted bike, now lights will not work (2002 Electra Glide)

UPDATE............

He had one of those aftermarket thingamajigs that plugged inline at the taillight harness so that the rear turn signals are marker lights. Don't know if it suffered from a surge, or just coincidence, but it's gone and all good now.
