Help with location of these ignition/engine control wires...
I am installing a scorpio alarm and for the ignition disable feature I have a few options for splicing it in to the ignition/engine control. I can't find the location of any of these wires or their description/color in my manual and am wondering if I can get some help on very specific descriptions. Here are the options listed:
1) positive lead wire or ground on fuel pump
2) positive lead wire on fuel injection system
3) positive wire that goes to the ignition fuse in fuse box - it goes on to say here that "this should be either a 10 or 15 amp fuse labeled IGN [carbureted bikes only]) and I don't know if this whole option #3 is only for carbed bikes or just the labeling reference.
4) ground wire from ignition module.
5) positive wire from ignition module to ignition coil.
Also, which would you recommend?
Thanks
