i'm connected and "got info from ecm" fine but do i need to save the original one from the bike first? if so, how do i do that?

Got it from San Ramone HD, I don't think they will do anything, I am fairly certain it was the parts mgr that I was talking to about it.. and he wouldn't budge...

I'd have them explain to you what you did wrong, other than hand them your hard earned cash or plastic to pay for it. JMHO.

or exchanges on those" I said "but I asked your parts guy TWICE if this was the correct one for my bike and he said Yes both times, he even put me on hold

That's great!, "brush his teeth with it", I would go in, but they are in california, I'm in kansas.....in the end it ain't so bad,
I have $310 invested in two SE IRT's, which is about the retail price for one.... I guess it ain't the $ that pisses me off , it's the principle of it all.[:@] shoulda just ordered it from Zanotti's to begin with.... lesson learned.
