Anyone have info on testing Regulator. I have an '09 FXD. The battery has drained a couple times, I would just recharge. Also jumped my girlfriend's car the other week. The other day went down to start her up battery was dead. Took to local HD, charged, they said it was good. Put it on road to work, at the end of the day dead. Should I just try a new battery first.

I had the same problem and cold the bike charged but when it got hot the regulator quit charging. If you put a volt meter on the battery you should see it go from around 12 to around 14 + volts
