Motorcycle EFI Explained (Sert/PC/ECM Download)
I've seen a lot of questions on ugrading a H-D EFI and what is best (SERT/ PC/ Fuel Pak, etc.) and how does each type work.
The attached site has the best explanation of each type that I've seen yet.

Make sure you checkout "Part 2" (at the bottom of the article). That has the comparison chart and +/ - of each type of system.

I don't know about the rest of you SERT owners out there, but my problem isn't understanding how the SERT works. My problem is finding a good description of how to go about tuning out a problem or adding more HP/torque. Sure there are some suggestions for how to get started in the SERT manual, but someone needs to write a comprehensive set of how tos. For example, if you have the following symptom, try adjusting this table in these columns, with these increments, then if this happens try changing the following. I realize this would take a lot more room to describe than the short description in the manual, but I'll bet a lot of SERT owners would pay for that kind of step by step manual. Anyone want to make some $$?
