Default Bosch 02 Sensors - Cheap

The ThunderMax Auto uses Bosch Wideband O2 sensors as do many other "autotune" systems. These sensors are widely used in many other types of engine applications and come wiht various connectors.

Although I have not had to replace my sensors, I did find the following two sources for the Bosch O2 Sensor part number 0-258-007-057 (sometimes known as an LSU-4 or 17014) which is the one used by ThuderMax/Zippers. VW uses the same sensor (their part # is 021-906-262B) so if you get in a bind, any VW Dealer should be able to help.

unit price $67

http://oxygensensor.net/bosch_o2/17014.php

unit price $48

You can buy all sorts of O2 connectors, etc from these places. With $ tight in today's economy, there is no reason to "over pay" for anything.

Even better. I can't understand why folks are buying these things from "vendors" at twice that price.

Did you just ask for the Bosch Part number?

Yes, found the Bosch number in a search and just went in and gave them that. Perfect match.

Know this is a VERY old thread, but it helped me out replacing a bad front O2 sensor on my 2015 RK.
Installed TMAX ECM 6 months ago, the bike started running RICH a few weeks ago, hooked up the laptop to the bike, front AFR was pegged at 19.36 - swapped out the connections (rear to front) tada - bad sensor.
OEM from TMAX was $130 + 5-10 days shipping
Found this thread & bought 1 for $35 @ Oreilly's
Installed w/out having to remove the pipes & out riding this evening.
Thx for the info!

EXACT REPLACEMENT
17014 Bosch LSU4.2 WideBand O2 Sensor

An old thread with some great info! IMHO, threads like this one need to bubble up to the surface from time to time.
