I need some help and advice.

I have been traveling a lot, I just had my 03 FLHTCUI shipped here.

I had to replace the battery; it was dead beyond recovery, as my misfortune would have it the bike could have been without power for as long as 3 months.

With a new battery in place, the bike won’t start, all the lamps seems normal, and the engine turns, checked the old fashion way, and the ignition seems to work, the plugs have a spark.

The one thing I believe is not happening is the fuel pump starting (no sound) even if the check engine lamp goes out.

The bike has a dealership installed TSSM (security module) with siren, this by it self seems to operate as it should.

Any idea or advices, other than towing the bike back to a dealer?

Could it have been tipped in shipping?

There is a reset sequence to get the system to fire again after the tilt sensor has gone off.

I think its, on-off-on-off-on in quick succession

 

Allready tried, no luck!

 

Maybe a fuse or relay wiggled loose. Could be the wiring to the pump got jostled loose as well.

It shouldn't be too hard to check for voltage going to the pump... Then you will know where to start looking.

 

Did you check the fuel pump fuse? Did you deactivate, activate and deactivate the alarm with the fob?

 

If a vehicle has tipped, all you need to do is upright it, turn it off and wait 10 seconds, then turn it on. The TSM/TSSM bank angle function will then reset.

 

Already tried, done about all I can think off except from hooking a computer to the bike, so I guess I am just left at the mercy of the local dealership.

I’ll admit that I am a novice to Harley Davidson, but I have ridden and fixed bikes for most my life, is there any essential tool that I need to have in order to fix my Electra Glide myself?

Have read about the Scanalyzer, is there any other interface and/or software that I could use to hook up my laptop to achieve the same result?

Hi, thanks to all for your advice!

Due to the sircumstances, I had to bite the apple, did the dealership tour, $ 600 later, I have a new fuel pump and a running bike.

Turned out that the shipper had drained the fuel tank to much, left to dry sediment killed the fuel pump, and of course some corrosien in the tank it self.

It was a bitch to clean, but It is finally done.
