Default wiring

does any 1 has wire color code for 1987 flhtc. trying to figure out what wire goes to what. the problem im having is i can start the bike but soon as i move the the handle bar either way all the lights shut off. if any 1 has any idea it would help. thank u

Typically running lights wires are blue. The highbeam for the headlight is white and the low beam is yellow. Left turn signal is violet and right turn signal is brown.

On the older bikes the lights are typically grounded to the light housing which is grounded to the handlebars. I believe there is a ground wire that goes from the handlebar to the forks or something like that. Since you are losing all lights.....it sounds to me like you might be losing that ground connection. That is where I would start.
