Speedometer Not Working

Speedometer Not Working
Yesterday while riding, the speedometer on my '02 Fat Boy carb just went back to zero and quit working. The odometer still displays, but no mileage is racked up. I popped the speedo off and reset the little red button, but no go.
Is there a common cause that anyone is aware of? For now it looks like she'll be off to the shop unless there's a simple fix that I can do at home.

RE: Speedometer Not Working
Cleaning was not the cure. Cleaned and reinstalled and reset the 2 little red buttons for speedo and odometer, still no go. Oh well, it was a simple enough remedy and worth a shot. Looks like she goes in to the shop this week. Removing it from the transmission is easy enough. Looks like it might be a real bear to find the other end of the wire though.
I found the way to access the trouble codes via the odometer display, but I think I have the 04-05 codes down on paper. Nothing that I have printed up matches the stuff that I see on my bike's display. I thought I might be able to determine if the VSS is bad this way.

Off to the shop with it so that it'll be ready for this weekend's poker run.
Anyone know anyplace where I can print up and decipher the trouble codes for the '02 models?
