Default Security system wont allow bike to start

The 2008 Street glide will not start. The security system keeps blinking when the fob is present. I thought it was the fob battery but I tried the other fob and got the same thing. I dont have the code that is required to disarm the security system. Any ideas?

I bought the bike new. They gave me a little sticker with 5 digits but the first one is a letter.

try 1-2-3-4-5 did you change batteries in BOTH fobs? I have a Fob that eats batteries, sucks when I misplace my regular, because I have to put a battery in the other everytime I need to use it......but they are cheap at the dollar store.....you could also do a "master reset...i.e. disconect the battery for a minute then reconnect......

You should read the owners manual and put in a manual alarm pin number just incase this ever happens to you again and you're 100 miles from home.
This way you can over ride the alarm and shut it off and ride home or to the auto parts store for a new battery.

Here's a site with all the info to do it:

Change the pin, and then practice disarming it. I've been meaning to try riding around for a week without the fob, just so if I ever have a problem I'm set to go. I don't carry my manual everywhere and sometimes I'm not in cell phone range to look it up on the web

In the manual there is a card with the instructions and procedure for manually disarming the alarm with your personal pin number that you can keep in your wallet.
I personally just typed how to do it in my notes section on my cell phone so I always have it on hand.
