Default You'll find some good answers in the other thread you started about this

Just leave it on, that's what it's designed for.

With the Power Commander V, the autotune module can be left on the bike and continuously tune as you ride. I would recommend accepting the trims from time to time so that the base map is closer to what the bike needs. If you use the autotune modules with the PowerVision, the wideband sensors are used to log tuning data and then generate a tune. You can leave the autotune module installed and capture tuning data whenever you choose but with the PV the modules do not autotune as you ride.

There are parameters that are set for the Autotuner. Unless you go in and change them, the bike has to run for 60 seconds and reach 160 degrees before it will begin to automatically tune.

It can only move 20% one way or another (+/-) off of the base tune. So, periodically, you want to go in a save the changes, which permanently changes the base tune. Then the 20% swing can make further adjustments.

It is made to stay on the bike and continuously tune. When the bike is on, IT is on.
