I installled the module that turns the signal lights into brake and running lights and now I get a check enging and battery light just after startup.

Any ideas ?

You know what .. model would help .... 06 Sportster 883 standard. The only other electrical mod was the addition of the HD crash bar mounted fog lights some time ago.

 

did you disconnect the battery for a short period of time?

 

No. The directions didnt say to do that. I did remove the Maxi fuse though as directed.
