Default Slip

I have a 08 super glide Iwas told at aHarley shop that I didnt need a fuel injection module or new air cleaner if I used the cycle shack slipons.
am I in trouble please help thanks!

If you just change mufflers you really don't need a tuning device.

However... here comes the good stuff..

Your bike already runs lean. The ECM will soon adjust back to the same lean condition via the ALV (Adaptive Learning Value) that will be in about 3 tanks of gas.

Depending on how large or open the baffles are the longer it will take to ALV.

People put too much stock in that ALV (Adaptive Learning Value).It can only "adjust" .05% Thats it.

The ECM will actually adjust 5 to 7 %, not one half of one percent.

Mr. Wizard, when 5% is written as a decimal it is .05 .06 .07 .99 etc I just should have not inserted the % symbol

Thanks .... was going mach II when I saw that. You are correct, sorry for the previous comment.

Some say 3 - 5 % while others say 5-7%. I like to lean to the highest concern.
