Can't I just have it dyno tuned?
am going to buy a 2012 and will change exhaust and do stage 1. after i do that, cant i just take it and have it dyno tuned to achieve max performance? do i need to buy a tuner.
I have a PCV on my current bike and to be honest, i have no clue what to do with it and how to tune my bike. I rely on downloads from others and dont know if my bike is properly tuned or not so i guess im not all that interested in spending money to buy a new tuner when i dont have the skills to use it. appreciate your inputs.
ps, have been told that my current PCV will not work on newer model bikes

Talk to a competent dyno shop and take their advice. I think all of them will need some kind of device (so called tuner) to load programs onto your bike, and its either part of the dyno charge, or purchases separately. A stage one download is a waste of money for you if you intend to take it to a tuner soon, don't bother with it. Your dyno shop may also give you a good deal on the exhaust.
