1st try replacing your circuit breaker with stock one then if that dont work then try a 50amp circuit breaker.
when my charging system took a dump and i replaced it with a Compu-Fire 40 AMP 3 Phase charging systems i took it for a test ride and as i was riding it would go out just turn off well heres what i did i swapped out my stock circuit breaker with a 50amp circuit breaker from harley but you probably can get it at any auto parts store and if you dont know where your circuit breaker is located at its behind your splash guard between tire and frame.
remember my problem was i was tripping my circuit breaker with my new 40amp charging system and the old circuit breaker was 32 or 38amps max yours might be different so i am not responsible for what ever happens to your bike.

is the bike fuel inj,i remember in sturgis in 05 there was alot of HD's being towed out for no start and shut off because of a wire in the harness under the tank was too short and shutting the FP off,u never said if it just shuts off or starts to break up and stall, does it immediatly restart or do u have to crank the hell out of it
no it is not fuel injected but thanks for your help

how about the ign switch, kill switch,i work on waverunners, bad kill switch seen alot go bad , only thing left to do is an ohms test on all ign wires associated with the + and - from switch, same to ign mod and coils, something is breaking down, bad connection ie corrosion,it will overheat a wire and break a connection even intermittently, did u pay for all the parts ?

it's the ignition relay, key switch or wiring harness. Since it's random it's probably were a mechanical connection is made. Hard to believe you have spent a $1000 and it's not fixed. I realize there is a lot of parts on a Harley but only a real few make the motor actually run. You need a new mechanic. At that many dollars, I would think a part changer would have hit it by now.
