05 RoadKing ECM fried I think???
got a customer who got a new battery and hooked up his battery backwards and his TFI ground to power. Fried the TFI unit for sure.
We hooked everything back up to stock without the TFI and bike will not work. All electrical checks point to the ECU. The guys at TFI also told us that the 03-05 road kings ahd ECU problems anyways. Not 100% sure if they said 03-05 but i know it included 05 models at least.
wanted to know if there is any truth to this. Harley ran the vin and there are no warranties or bulletins for it. but it seems like the cimputer on this is fried.
any way to get a used or new computer without having to go through harley specifically?
