Default Guage light is flickering

I already posted this in the the touring section. I have an 06 Street Glide. Last rear I replaced the bulbs in all the guages with leds. This year the led in the fuel guage started to flicker. So I purchased a new led to replace it. It is doing it again. I am guessing it is not the led itself. Could it be the socket that the led goes into? Is there a way to check it? Thoughts/ideas?

Thanks
Eric

I am experiencing EXACTLY the same problem. I replaced all small gauge lights with LEDS about a year ago and everything was fine for almost two seasons then just before fall all of a sudden the small gauges lights all started flickering while riding. Driving me crazy!! Please help!
