Default Problem with fuel gauge and low fuel light

I have an '09 Streetglide and my fuel gauge started reading full all the time and the low fuel light comes on after riding for about 80 miles. Any had this happen before?

Default Pinched Wire?

I had same problem with my 09' ULTRA CLASSIC. It started about 2 months after I bought bike new. After the Dealer change Fuel Gauge Sending Unit, Fuel Gauge and Odometer Head, issue stayed clear for a short time. After having the bike in shop for a dozen times, they figured it out.

It was a Pinched Wire behind Fairing around the Radio. There is a mile of wire in the Fairing for everything and all is crammed in and when assembled at Factory, a wire pinched and was grounding out.

Good luck and hope this helps.
