07 SG 103 SE Build-starting issues
Hey guys-I recently purchased an 07 SG but as far as the motor work goes the deails are unknown.None of the receipts were available.Bottom line is that the bike has a PC111 and was dynoed by a well respected tuner.
It was about a 4,000 build up with cams, heads and the works basically dne by HD.The previous owner was one of those guys that walked in to the dealer and said "give me the best of everything".
The bike runs great with no lag, stutter, decel pop or any real issues.
the bike does however have startup issues-especially when cold.
Also, the pipes that the bike was dynoed with were changed out without another tune.
So even with pushing in the compression relief valves the bike at cold start has to crank quite a few times and sometimes even sputters, quites and produces a cloud of white smoke.
I am no gearhead so my question is do I have anything to worry about?Like I said the bike runs very well besides the startup issue.

I would have said the same thing, but I've never seen a cloud of smoke come out of mine. This would be a concern if it were mine. I'm sorry, I don't have any real advice for you, other than take it to someone and have them take a look at it. Better safe than sorry.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
Yeah I tried to start it right away and that is better but not perfect.
And yeah the smoke is what concerns me too.
Anyone have any feedback on the Reveolution Performance system that re-flashes the stock ECU?
Seems to be tons of good reviews of this unit.
