My 2005 roadking blows the accessory fuse when the ignition switch is turned on. It started the other day when i noticed my speedometer not working.There is nothing pluged in the accessory plug and the plug and wiring look ok. I started checking wires for pinches or bare spots.So far i havent
found anything. Where would be the first or best place to look?

 

Never mind folks, problem solved. The wire running to the front fender tip light some how got snagged and rubbed by the front tire and shorted against the fender. I dint know how it happened but it tore the gromet from the fender as it pulled and cut the wire. Once it was removed, everything works and no blown accessory fuse.
