Default turn signal help needed or will go insane

Hi, ive just swapped out my rear fender on the crossbones and fitted a pair of aftermarket bulb turn signals. I checked the connections a million times and its all good but I cant get the left hand signal to work properly. Everything else electrical is fine but sometimes the turn signal works, sometimes not, sometimes there is a little whine from the ECM (I think) when I try and it fails, sometimes there is a very weak signal. I think it is an watt or voltage issue?

Help please, I can guarantee its not a loose connection.

Cheers

did you use 1156 base bulbs or 1157 base bulbs? 1157 has 2 contacts and won't work properly with the single contact 1156 socket.
