For an '08 Fatboy - trying to get the fuel pump assy out so I can reach the fuel float in the right side of the tank. Gauge reads wildly off (off 3/8 of a tank at 1/2 remaining) and I want to bend the wire down a bit to try and correct it.

I've taken out the '06 Softail version with no problem as I had a perforated line and was losing fuel pressure a while back - but as I'm trying to get this one out of the tank something is 'hanging'. I don't have an '08 manual and it looks different from the '06 in my book. Before I bugger it - any tricks to removing it? Just remove the hose from the back of it??
