Help!!! I recently purchased a XL1200C a coouple of weeks age, this is my first Harley and I really like it. About 2 days ago it started acting like the battery was going flat when i would start it so I replaced the battery with a new one ( the ols old one was 3 yrs old. that is old in az) any after replacing the battery the bike blos main fuses as i install them I can not locate the short Doese any one have an idea or come across this problem

 

Since you were in the battery box, I would start there. Fuses blow when there's a direct short, so start looking for bare wires. A manual would be helpful too.....

 

Had sme problem few years ago on EG. Dealer found loose battery wires. no problem since.
