05 FXDWG On start up when I turn the key on and turn the run switch on the flashers will flash about 3 or 4 times.It has never done this I has to have it worked on last year at the dealer.Bike never did this before,when I bought the bike from a private party they said the security system was disabled.I am wondering if the dealer re-armed it.I have only done a stage 1 with power commader on it but it was fine before

 

Keep the fob well away from the bike and turn the ignition on and if the lights blink and it won't start that'l tell you if the dealer rearmed it.

 

Sounds like they reset the security system. I disabled mine on my 03. The procedure was in the manual. I no longer have it so I hope you have access to yours. The newer bikes have a proximity sensor so you have to have the key fob with you when you turn on the switch.

 

OK I have no fob and have never had 1,I will go through the manuel and see if I can disarm it

 

Every Harley of that era comes with two keys and fobs, so you really should have been given them by the previous owner.

 

Mine doesn't have the security system, but it does this on start up. It is a problem with the TSM (turn signal module). It doesn't affect anything. The turn signals work normally. It just looks a little goofy when you go to start the bike...
