Power Vision Information Thread

So I haven't connected my PV2 to my PC in a while, I decided to check if there is any SW update. Turns out when I plug in the unit via USB, it powers up and shows PC Link Mode Active, but the Powervision client and the Powervision Update client both won't recognize that the PV2 is connected. Thought it might be a driver issue, but I can't find any drivers in the DynoJet SW download section.
Thoughts? Also, I tried to push the power button on the unit to see if that would do anything, but it won't depress. Maybe it is stuck? For reference, the unit works perfectly on the bike. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Sounds like you have the WinPV software and the PV Update Client open at the same time. Close out of both programs and open up the Update Client and you should be good to go.

I might have had the WinPV open at first. Now it is closed and the Update Client is still not recognizing the PV2. I have a pop-up that states:
"Please connect your Power Vision to your PC with the provided USB cable to check for necessary firmware updates."
I click OK and another pop-up says:
"No Power Vision connected. Please check any PV's with a batch number below 110201 for a CRITICAL SYSTEM UPGRADE."
Is it possible that WinPV is still running in the background?

PV2 log data not correct? I was datalogging and looking at my csv in excel- I have my idle timing set to 16 F/R in the 750-1000 rpm lines up to 40kpa (idle MAP is typically 32-37). idle is set to 950rpm. CTS is disabled.
In my CSV log file, the logged data during idle events, 0 TP (e.g. sitting at a long light) shows 23-24 degrees advance for the 950 idle - both F and R. But, if I plug in the PV2 and view it real-time, the adv F/R shows correct for 950 idle, 0 TP at 16 degrees with slight variance to 16.5.
What's up with the captured log data - possible bug?

Hope the issue is that simple to solve, Jaime.
