FUEL MOTO'S Brian just tech-supported my PV2 above & beyond the call.

Quick review and an fyi...

My PV2 is mebbe a year & a half old, (well out of warranty) and always rides on the bars (@ ~85, w/ no windshield).
Couple days ago it came up dead... that is, it would only show the splash screen.
Hooked it up to the laptop, same deal... Dynojet splash screen only. It wasn't even showing in Device Manager.

I emailed the issue to FM expecting the worst. Brian gets back and says he has a tool he can fix it with while I'm on the phone with him!
And he did!!! Using remote s/w, (and directing me when to plug what) he wiped my PV completely and then reloaded the firmware.
10 minutes later it was like new. That's what I call a good day.

BTW, he also helped me out on lil' things before too, I jus' din't write him up then.
But holee crap, the man gave my PV 'mouth to mouth' and brought it back from the dead...over the phone!

Thanks to Fuel Moto and to Brian.

Kudo's to Brian!! That's good to know.. mine rides the bars too. Of course I guess I don't really need to know it, as I would have made the same first call.

This is the type of added value that FuelMoto delivers daily.

Thanks

Right click the link as directed, then from the pop-up menu select:
'save file as'
and select a location to save the file.

Question for you guys. I was out doing some auto tune runs on my 07 deuce last night. I'm using a fuel moto supplied map for my 107. It was being very difficult to get the screen populated. It kept saying V+ and not collecting data. Some areas it would eventually start working and others it wouldn't work at all regardless of how long I stayed in that particular cell. After a while of this the screen would eventually freeze up. The highlighted cell wouldn't move any more regardless of rpm or throttle position. I then had to exit the auto tune screen then go back into it and it'd start working again. I just got done tuning my 14 SGS with this PV and everything worked perfectly on that bike. Anyone have an idea of what's going on here and how I can fix it? Thanks

Wait a sec ... you used your Power Vision on two different bikes? Is that possible?

you can use PV on any number of bikes you choose as long as you buy the licenses for it.
