The stock file can only be converted to pv when connected to the bike?

If you have saved the stock file to your pc you can send it to the pv like any other tune.

If you only have it on your pv, you can choose "PowerVision > Diagnostic / test Functions > Exit PC Link Mode …".
Then you should be able to save the stock file in a tune slot using the pv display.

I have the stk file on my pc but cant open it on winpv because its not converted.

I exited the pc link mode. I go to load copy>load copy of original, but it says no ECM connection.

I got my PV from my garage to try and it seems you are right.
You can send the stk file to the pv when you are not connected to the ecm but it seems that you can not edit or convert it to a pvt file.

So close you almost got it. Hook PV up to bike then load COPY OF ORIGINAL. The .stk file is loaded into the PV at install. You can get a copy from the ECM it will be a .pvt file.

Oh then open it in WinPV and update it by using PowerVision/ Update Tune using PV...
To see all the tune items that were not unlocked in original version.

Yes, but the question was: can it be done without connecting the pv to the bike, which seems to be not possible.

Well then no, You must hook the PV to the bike to Load Copy of Original tune to a slot on the PV,Which will then be labled "Copy of Original .pvt",
That can be updated/viewed/edited/renamed in Win PV. Do you just want to compare original to AT results?

Well, I compared the Original with the first Basic auto tune results. Any interpretations?

VE's show a significant change at >15% throttle and >2000 RPM. I would think you should be able to feel the change.

I would continue to auto tune until the changes are in the 3-5% delta range to refine the tune.

PV needs to update their manual and remove Log Tuner software if they are not using it anymore.

Anyways, this is the second autotune results.
