Did you do the reset posted by UltraNutz?https://www.hdforums.com/forum/ignit...l#post12897968
Did you follow instructions ?
Did you update tune after downloading the newest version that's working for everyone else?
Did you reflash your ECM with a fresh clean tune?
Are you sure the cable is not to close to plug wires, I used that corrugated plastic wire cover in the wire channel.
Are you related to Red Dragon? J/K

2. Yes I followed instructions
3. Yes I updated after the complete wipe
4. Have not flashed the ECM with a fresh clean tune yet but will do that in the next few days.
5. I routed the cable through the same hole that the ECM cable is going through and used the channel under the seat as well. A note here: The unit worked before when i first got it with the cable running out of the side of the power box cover right next to the spark plug wires.
6. Don't know who Red Dragon is

Not wet enough to do any harm to the PV1. As I said before, just wondering if it could do "some" damage to the ECM but not enough to cause it to totally crap out. There are only 3 wires going to the PV1 and I am getting some information just not all the information needed.

Ok good,So after resetting the PV, all 6 custom tune slots were empty, right. With the PV hooked up to your PC, you opened the tune you want to use, Then before using "Get Tune" to load it into the PV,Use the "Powervision" button on your toolbar, The dropdown menu has, "Update Tune using PV" you used that, right? I'm just trying to be clear. You should then have a fresh clean updated tune to "Get Tune" loaded into the PV to flash your ECM.

Not sure if I did what you said about the update from Powervision? I will check on that when I get home from work in the a.m. Have not loaded it on the bike yet so no problem there. REALLY HOPING this rain (downpours!) will take a holiday tomorrow so I can ride the bike to work and see how she it doing.

I started with the factory Tune I felt it was closer than the fuel moto map
I ran 20 autotune runs and After I master than I start with the logtuner and timing the old style way.
Check this out ( very important you do this right,):

Well are here to Help but some time this **** it hard to Understand.
I tuned dirt bikes for many year with carbs but the fuel injection and ecm Powervisions etc.... Man there is a Learning curve for sure. Good luck and Keep asking questions.

I agree with Oilsmoke here and moreso because you're in the lovely south where humidity alone can wreak havoc on the novice DIYer when auto-tuning. And really has nothing to do with FM as I've received maps from other vendors as well including TTS, Fullsac, HD,etc. for certain builds and they were so far off to start with, I simply chose a canned map to start with as it's easier to understand what is changing, why it's changing, and when it's changing. Unless you know what you're looking for specifically, there could be tables changed in these "provided" maps that you're unaware of and contributing to a difficult auto tune session. Just start with a canned map, set it up to tune, and get after it.
