Creating a tune file
I forgot how to set up my WinPV software so that all tune items are available in the drop down tree. I am not able to see the full selections inorder to create the tune file.
Right now all I see is a few items but no VE front, VE rear etc.
Can anyone remind me how to change this?

Let me make sure I understand your status. So you bought a PV on Ebay and are currently running a tune created from an earlier dyno tune? Did you buy the PV used or new? If bought used it will open up some issues that I won't belabor just yet. Do you have a tune you want to flash to the ECM, and if so where did you get it?
The ET's you're seeing aren't that bad at all and the decel popping is something you can tune out once you get to that step.
First, download this tutorial on basic tuning and read through it. You can use the logs you already have in addition to others you'll create later, as the PV Tune software can load more than one log file in one tuning session. One you read through the PDF, post any questions that you may have.
There's no need to create two separate tunes for economy and performance, as you can have this in one tune. You tune for effiiciency in the cruise range, where you likely spend most of your time, and richer toward the WOT range.
It is now warming up here and the bike is starting to run like carp. I have power loss when accelerating, decel poppping between 1400 and 2100 RPM. Engine temperature seems to max out at about 273* in stop and go traffic and about 248* on the freeway travelling at 75MPH.
Since I am new to tuning an EFI bike, just would like some pointers on where to start. I have about a half hour of logging for my ride home from work which is a mix of stop-go and about 10 minutes on the freeway.
I would like to build a couple of tunes for winter and summer months as well as a power and economy tunes.

Recent Power Vision user here. I recently modified my map to account for the eventuality that I will have to use 87/89 octane fuel, or get a tank full of crap. I pretty much extrapolated the difference in spark advance and copied those values into my tune. I'm heading to Rolling Thunder tomorrow morning and have 3 maps that I will be comparing for fuel economy and pinging. Should be interesting. How does these changes sound to you iclick.

I wouldn't post mine. It's a map that Fuel Moto gave me with the purchase of the Power Vision from them. Don't think it's fair to give away the fruits of someone else's labor. Of course, that's only my opinion.
I go to the Dynajet web site and look at there maps to look for the differences between economy and performance, and different octanes.

Seems to me that anyone who buys the PV over any other DJ product intends to toy with and attemps to fine tune the map. Why else buy the PV?
I posted mine a couple pages ago, I'm not scared. Plus, One persons map is pretty much usless on any other bike untill you tune it again so it really doesn't matter.

The individual I purchased the bike off of had the bike dynoed during the winter. He had bought a Harley tuner(which he misplaced) for the SE 1 AC he had installed on it. The dealer put the Stage 1 map on it after the AC install and then he had it dynoed after the Rineharts. This is the only tune I have to work with right now. The one dealer out here wants an arm and leg to flash a stock Stage 1 tune onto my bike as they will not flash the stock stock tune because of the Stage 1 and Rineharts.
During the cooler months here in AZ I was only achieving about 36 MPG cruising anywhere from 2700 RPM(about 60MPH) and 3000 RPM(about 75 MPH) on my bike with a little decel popping. It is summer temps now and the MPG has came up to about 43 MPG for the same cruising range. I have some power loss and the decel popping has became worse. I have talked to others with similar or stock setups and they are getting anywhere from 45 in the cooler months up to 52 in the hotter months and no loss of power or decel popping, or so they say.
I know that Harley stock tunes are lean and with the setup on my bike the tune has to be a little richer to avoid engine damage.
I wish I could find a couple of custom tunes that will work for my locale and my setup.
Thanks.

Missing speedo cal setting
09 Dyna. Just got my SE255's installed. Loaded up a couple maps inc one from Jamie and neither have the option to set speedo cal like my previous maps do. I went ahead and flashed the FM map as I recall reading that sometimes if your missing options loading the map would add them in. Pulled the pv, hooked up to my pc and 'got' the map from the pv and still no speedo cal setting. Am I doing something wrong here? They seem to be the same cal number as my other Dyna maps.
Thanks
