I am more of a heatwaves map rider. Thanks for posting fuel maps I would like to see heatwaves map in Lambda I know he has the box checked to show afr. But you can show a afr of 14.4 but that could be a lambda of .977 to .982?

thanks for the charts... im in learning phase...
As Iclick mentioned, my bike and Heatwave's bike are TBW while Iclick's is not. The calibrations are built on different strategies. They cover the same ranges but are just broken up differently. Don't get hung up on the different columns but you can use them for comparison.

Using MegaLogViewer HD to plot VE Front and VE New Front and in the third box pick RPM.

Do you get a straight line or is it a real fuzzy line? If you are getting close on the VEs, you will get a straight line. Similar to when in open loop, plotting MAP and INJ PW F and RPM in the third box.

Way cool stuff.

Here is one after a couple of tuning runs. Getting close...

Dennis

Wow that is good. Almost textbook. Does your code have under limit switches the ability to turn on and off Closed loop?

This graph is the last log I did to tune the VE tables for my current calibration. I think the VEs are pretty spot on.

Yes, it does have the ability to turn on and off Closed loop under limit and switches.

In a previous post I asked about changing the entire AFR table to 14.6 for tuning runs, but was cautioned about doing that in the higher RPM/MAP areas without adjusting the spark advance to avoid possible engine damage. Does this only apply to the upper ranges or does it also apply to lower ranges? IE, if I decide to change (in the future) to open loop in the cruise range should I be concerned with spark advance...or any other items?

Dennis or Whittlebeast, do I need the registered copy of megalogviewer to get graphs like Dennis posted? I downloaded the trial version but can't seem the figure out how to get it to plot like the one posted.

Are these graphs generated with the Megalogviewer on a bike with WB O2 sensors, AT-100 and PV? I assume this type of data cannot be generated with the NB O2 sensors...is that correct?

Do you have the version from this site? A normal Google search most likely gets the Megasquirt version.

You should be able to set the range from MAP 20KPA thru 75KPA and 750 RPM thru 3750 RPM to 14.6 without any issues.
If you decide to go to open loop, you will be going richer and would not have to be concerned with the spark advance.

I used the unregistered version, just open your log, click the scatter graph tabs and select the 3 data signals to plot.
