TTS Mastertune is hard to beat. I have yet to see one post from an unsatisfied customer. Its a great product for an amateur, just read the manual and help files and visit HDForums for more help. Don't forget V-Tune and the upcoming software Cam tool.
I would say it has the edge over the Screamin' Eagle Super Pro Tuner, or anything else for that matter.

What about for the 2011 softails?

Some of these tuners, like the PCV, say they don't support the J1850 data bus. I'm concerned about not having that; temperature is one of the data parameters I'd like to see.

Most laptops don't come with serial ports any more, and you have to buy the more expensive cable for the TTS to support USB ports.

I'm still on the fence, too. It's annoying that you have to pay a stiff fee if you want to use the TTS on more than one bike. I can see why they wouldn't want a shop to only buy one tool, but seems like they should at least allow 2 bikes for home use.

The TTS cable is a bit of a scam, the USB cable they include is like $9 from Buy.com, there isn't anything special about it. The vehicle side is unique, but they don't sell it seperately.

They are supposed to support the 2011 softail bikes sometime early this year.

The USB adapter in the TTS kit is a much better adapter than those $9 models, perhaps something more like a $60 adapter. If the adapter doesn't do flow control right, they are nothing but trouble.

With the new Power Vision I'm capturing the following J1850 parameters at 16ms rate:
Desired Air/Fuel (Lambda)
VE Front
Manifold Absolute Pressure
Desired Air/Fuel (Ratio)
VE Rear
Engine Speed
Accel Enrichment
Battery Voltage
Decel Enleanment
Engine Temperature
Front Adaptive Fuel Factor
Front Spark Knock Retard
Idle Set Speed
Injector Time Front
Injector Time Rear
Intake Air Temperature
Rear Adaptive Fuel Factor
Rear Closed Loop Integrator
Rear Spark Knock Retard
Run Mode Flag
Spark Advance Front
Spark Advance Rear
Throttle Position
Vehicle Speed
Warm-up Fuel AFR (Lambda)
Warm-up Fuel AFR (Ratio)
Engine Run Time

Of course I have to scroll through a few page displays depending on which signals I want to view/monitor real-time as I ride. I think you can but a small monitor to hook to your laptop running the TTS software to get most of the same functionality the Power Vision has, just a little more clunky...

Is the power vision the same thing as the PCV ? or it's a different product from Dynojet ?
