I have a 98 carburated rk and about a month ago the bike started off by not cranking so i let it sit for a little while then i tried it again and it still wouldn't crank so i checked the fire and it wasn't firing and it was late at night so i just give up and the next morning it fired right up..... well it's started doin that alot lately.. i'll drive it somewhere and go in and come back out and it won't crank.... it doesn't matter hot or cold and it definately does not do it consistently.. but if i let it sit for 4-8 hours it ALWAYS cranks right up.... and it also runs a little choppy.... so if anybody has any suggestion at all please elp... thanks

 

Coil goin south maybe? Have you checked the plugs & wires?

new plugs and wires very recent.........everybody has said coild or ignition
