I do believe in order to use the spread sheet you need to hook up your exhaust to "sniffers" and record the numbers then input to spread sheet.

I don't believe my SEpro tuner software will work with exhaust sniffers. I don't see any place for the data. The dealer uses a differant version on their dyno that can display and record A/F ratios generated from a exhaust sniffer.

No, it's the same version just a different method because you have the ability to sample the afr. It is recorded in the dyno software.

So the dealer uses the same SE software as ours but has additional software to run the dyno and sniffers. Makes sense.

Exactly right!. Our DynoJet software has an air sniffer hooked up to it. We record runs at all the differn't throttle positions or kpa (load) on the dyno then use that information to make adjustments in the SEPST software.

Hey guys, I just converted my 2010 iron to a 1250 with stage 1 heads, andrews n4 cams and 10.25 to 1 compression. Is there a map for this? If not will I screw anything up running one of the stage 1 or stage 2 1200 maps that came with my SE tuner?Just until I get it dynoed thats is.

I just recieved the training CD.

Does anyone know if there is an issue with it running on Vista? I can't get it to load?

UPDATE:
Tried it at work on XP and Windows 7. Worked on both. I guess I have an issue with my PC I have to figure out.

UPDATE 2:
Got it fixed. Opened the DVD software supplied with the PC and thier was a box to check for updates. Clicked it and sure enugh I need one. Downloaded the update and all is well.

(I added this info just in case anyone else has issues. Thier are lots of fixes in Google. Thought i'ld try the easiest first).

After reviewing the training CD for a couple hours, not much guidance. The pros on this forum give you more. Just my 2 cents. Mostly a procedural tool.

I haven't got one yet, but I would say it has to run on Vista. Are you just allowing it to run auto start or exploring the directory? Look for a install or run file on the CD (DVD???)

Default Tuning after dealer installed V&H Bigshots SE Pro and Heavy Breather

G'day everyone. A few questions I would appreciate some help on...

I have just had V&H Big Shots, SE Pro tuner and Heavy breather installed on my 2012 Fat Bob. I've only ridden it once so far, and it's loud, but also pops like crazy on decel.

What are the views on needing to do further tuning if the dealer has used a standard map and has no Dyno?

They were supposed to install the quiet baffles. If these are slipped in now, is a retune required/recommended?

I'm also tossing up between buying the software, training vid or putting into a Dyno equipped shop. I'm really after smooth, efficient running with a good rumble rather than max performance.

Ideas / comments? Thanks.
