SEPro/SEStreet Tuner Information Thread
#642
Sorry Bob. That SEPro tuner needs to be given to the new owner of the bike. It is electronically married to the Fatboy's ECM. It can't be used on another bike unless the ECM transfers with it.

why can't i view attachments posted here? trying to view suggested afr tables posted and comes up that i don't have the priverlige? still new here not sure what i am doing wrong.have done 4 smarttune runes on my 2010 fatboy withe v&h bigshots staggerd with harley stage 1 a/c. bike seems to be running well. is the next step to adjust my afr table? i am still running the origanal afr map, is this to lean? cant get any help from my local deaaler here as they refuse to work on my bike because it is an imported bike he says it is harley australia policy but when i call other dealers they say its ok but they are 300 miles away so i am trying to sort the tune myself.

Its been a few months since I did my first post in this thread. After a long time looking at the tuners out there I finally chose the SEPST from a local indi and he loaded a map, which turned out to be the wrong one. After a brief discussion with him I felt I needed to do this myself. I started out not even being able to hook the cable up to the correct connector! To cut to the chase, I learned alot reading and asking questions here and got it done. Last tank of gas I went 171 mile on 4.0 gal gas and when I crank the throttle I just smile. Thanks for all the help.

I use the smart tune fuction with about 5 test runs around 1 hour each, then I went from calif. To Colorado the bike ran great and I got about 45 mpg which is what the bike should get in closed loupe mode my closed loupe (red cells) is very small the cells were from 20 map to 80 map from 2250 rpm to 3000 rpm. Even that I was getting 45 mpg I would like to get 40 mpg to kept the engine a little cooler mainly going up the passes the problem is when I did a test run and look at the map load it would be in In. Hg and the afr chart map is in KPA. So I converted the metric (KPA) in to standard (In. Hg)
Heres what I got.
KPA In. Hg
10 - 2.95
15 - 4.43
20 - 5.91
25 - 7.38
30 - 8.86
35 - 10.34
40 - 11.81
45 - 13.29
50 - 14.77
55 - 16.24
60 - 17.72
65 - 19.19
70 - 20.67
75 - 22.15
80 - 23.62
85 - 25.10
90 - 26.58
95 - 28.05
100 - 29.53
if I am right now you can look at your test run and adjust the AFR map. My new settings are from 20 map to 60 map from 2500 rpm to 3000 rpm . I am hopping that this will alowe me to cruse at 70 on a flat road and the bike stays in close loupe mode but when I give the bike gas to go up a hill the bike will go out of close loupe mode and get more gas because I am out of the close loupe cells.
if i got this wrong please let me know
thank you
