Haha, I understand that. But any smart dealership wouldn't turn away work. The problem is, HD requested all dealerships to hook up Digital Technician when performing warranty work (at least with engines). If any tuner other than SE is used, DT will pick it up and then flag your VIN. Once flagged, your screwed. As I understand it, SE tuner does not flag the VIN. If this is the case, I want to know if you can use any exhaust combo (not SE) with the SE tuner?

You can use any muffler you want, but must keep the headpipe with the Catalytic converter in it. You can also use any air cleaner assembly you like. You can also use a complete exhaust system that has Catalytic converters in it, like the Screamin Eagle High Flow system or the S&S system, and the Pro Street Tuner can be used to tune the bike.

Slingshot383, copy that. So I couldn't get one without Cats and use the SE tuner?
I have my eye on the V&H True Duals with the Rinehart 4" slip on. Last night I put on a DK Custom's air-cleaner (636v).

No Cats, no more warranty. now, if you don't care about the warranty, then do what you want, tuners included.

I bought a '13 road king a few months ago, guy has a SEPST on it, does anyone know if I need to return the ECU back to stock before I purchase a different tuner to use?

No, just attach and flash the new tune. It should save your Screaming Eagle tune in case you ever want to go back to that tuner for whatever reason

Which Se tuner? The street tuner is only good for keeping the EPA compliance. The SE Super tuner is perfectly capable tuner for most applications.

Thanks!!
Just bought the cable set from my local dealer. They had it in stock.

I bought (and used) the SE Tuner/Cable for my 2019 Heritage stage-1 upgrades. Traded it in for a new 2021 Road Glide and want to do the Stage-1. Can I use the tuner on the new bike?

Check with your local Harley dealer service department. They should be honest and helpful with this question.
